The
results of your assessment process are compiled to create
three reports. Each report is designed to support a different
aspect of your personal professional development plan.
- Scoring Matrix – This Matrix provides your
final score in each Accomplished Practice and reminds
you of the instruments through which this score was
derived. This is an overview of your results. This data
should be used in conjunction with the Summary Report.
In addition, TSAP scores can be combined with classroom
performance observations and evaluations to form a complete
skill assessment process.
- Summary Report – This is a narrative report
that explains both the educator practice and what your
score in that area means in behavioral terms. This information,
used in conjunction with the Scoring Matrix, is useful
for understanding the results of your TSAP assessment;
as a beginning point for designing a personal career
exploration program; or for a beginning teacher to create
a professional development plan. The Summary Report
includes the following:
- A brief explanation of each accomplished practice,
- Behaviors typically associated with this practice,
- How each practice was assessed through the TSAP instruments, and
- Implications regarding professional development that are derived from your individual score.
- TSAP Professional Action Plan – This Action Plan contains a series of developmental tasks designed
to enhance your competency in any educator accomplished practice area for which you scored less than a 4 (out
of 5). These tasks should form the foundation of your continuous improvement process. Each Task within the
Action Plan includes the following:
- The Task,
- Directions for completing the task,
- Criteria for successful completion, and
- Additional information as needed to support
your success.
Specific suggestions for use and interpretation of each report are included within the reports themselves.
